My 1-2-3-GO! Process

My 1-2-3-GO! process is really just a useful way to organize travel planning. This process may take place over the course of weeks and months, with the end goal of a trip that will meet or exceed your expectations. 

 

 

DEVELOP

You could call this phase brainstorming if you want. This is the time to get the big ideas out in the open and start formulating the overall goal of the trip.

  • dates
  • budget

Information from this phase is used by your travel advisor to research options that meet the goal of the traveler(s) and put together suggestions.

DECIDE

This is the phase for reviewing options. Be sure everyone participating in the trip has a voice in formulating the final vacation product. 

  • review options
  • narrow down what works best
  • select components to include

This doesn't mean everyone gets everything they want, but a consensus is critical for the benefit of the entire group.

DETAILS

Every phase of this process is critical, but this one is where things get real. 

  • bookings are made
  • deposits/payments are collected

Now is when plans are confirmed and the itinerary is more formally put into place.
